The latest roll out of Microsoft's flagship product adds some new features and updates others. One of the nicer things is the refreshed 'look' of the app which 'declutters' the ribbon. Mac users of MS Office 2016 will still be hoping that 'CardDav' and 'CalDav' will come to Outlook, in particular, as at the moment there is no synchronisation with Mac OS's own Contacts or Calendar apps. This functionality has been promised in an update this year, along with the ability to synchronise with Google calendars. However, for the moment the nicer UI and somewhat snappier operation suffices.
