    Well, I haven't got it out of the box yet- but this is the second of these engines that I've bought.First one replaced the engine in a John Deere 22" self propelled mower in which I'd killed the original engine. Putting the new engine in was quick and easy (8mm bolts) and the mower is fantastic now! Always starts first pull, and much more powerful than the original engine.I'm going to put this engine in an old Victa super 600 slasher that I have. Instead of mucking around with old 2 strokes!

    Very happy! Motor replaces Baumr AG 3hp unit. Bolt holes align exactly . Throttle cable fits easily. Fitted small spacer washer to stop self propelled pulley binding at shaft base. Slow fill oil inlet . Started easily . Runs great!

      Great easy install.

      Needed some new bolts. M8 metric for those wondering. With different lengths. Bitta locktight. Needed to use spacers to get the engine high enough to original. Found the shaft from engine base is 80mm. To my standard of 60. No comment on longevity here but if it gives me 10 jobs. It will have paid itself off.

      A good, sturdy well built piece of engineering.

      Fitted straight on to my old mower with any trouble. Having filled it with oil and petrol it fired up easily. It seems to have a fixed governor rpm setting which could be faster but I will see how it performs under load once I get the blades on. If not it does seem adjustable. I needed a new blade boss and the Loncin had a smaller drive diameter shaft. Part readily available from Massport so that was no issue.
