      Plug-in AV/Computer Electronics cooling fan

      This fan is just what the doctor ordered for my hot running audio-video receivers. In my case I can just set it down over the grated ventilation part of the receiver's top cover and allow it to blow through the cover and over the hot heat-sinked amplifier ICs. If you wish to ventilate in the opposite direction, just turn the fan over for use as an exhaust fan. Receiver, which would run hot even at low volumes, runs continuously cool now . It plugs into an AC outlet, and quietly uses a mere 1 watt of electricity.

      Great fan to cool a receiver

      It is VERY quiet. It cools my Yamaha digital receiver which calls for 10 inches of free overhead space but I can only give it 3", in an otherwise open cabinet. I have fan just resting on shelf near to and blowing into, side vent. I will add a grill to outer side to protect blades. I will contrive a base to anchor it for when I shift the cabinet. I did add electrical tape to beef up wire connections. Pushing the male/female plug in the wires took patience as the pins are not the best. A good fan.

      Great colling fan

      This little fan is everything I had hoped for. I use it to cool an old large receiver. It works well and has no electrical interference with the sound output of the receiver.
