This is one of my favourite film cameras ever. It's a semi-pro camera built to resist to weather, time, stress, intensive usage. It's very easy to use, extremely comfortable in your hands, with a bright viewfinder. The only thing that you to care of is battery life: when the camera is out of power it only works at 1/90s. It has to be told that a pair of batteries gives you enough power to shoot about 150 rolls.
It has the best viewfinder/focus screen combination i've seen in a manual focus camera. The rest is in the eye of the photographer π

I have now used two rolls of film; one colour and one black and white. The pictures are stunning and in the case of the B&W film the tonality far surpasses what digital cameras are capable of A trully amazin camera

The FM3a is now way too expensive, this is virtually the same for a fraction of the price. Very pleased with it.

I have been seeking for a good condition film slr camera and the Nikon FE2 was my choice. I've read amazing things about this model and I'm glad I picked it up! Electronic shutter that can be used in full manual or auto (up to 1/4000s) was the key selling point for me. Highly recomended!!
