I have a collection of 18V Dewalt tools from Lights, Drills, Drivers, Nippers, Jig/Saber Saw, Circular Saw, Sawzall, etc., I also have a collection of Dewalt 120V Tools. I recently purchased two sets of the DCK277C2 20V Brushless Drill and Driver, they are light and easy to use. As my 18V batteries I am switching to the 20V Tools. Note: I bought one set on eBay and another on sale at Lowe's. With My Military Discount I saved money by buying the DCK277C2 at Lowe's.

I've had other brands and the DeWalt just fits my hand the best. Great balance of weight and power. I like how the included charger can also charge 12V packs from my other DeWalt tools, just wish this kit came with the belt hooks because these don't fit in my tool belt pockets. I primarily use these for driving screws, but they drill holes up to 1/2 inch in wood pretty well. Battery life is great and they charge up fast.

We already have the 12V dewalt drill/charger which is smaller and works well for installing kitchen cabinet and drawer hinges/faces. The 20V unit works well for fastening 3" screws into 2x4's during construction. Both drills have their place. The 20V unit has a more compact battery than some of the other brands out their so it is less stressful on my wrist when hefting it all day.
