Dedicated young student Barney Springboro (Scott Baio, Bugsy Malone) is a boy with plenty to prove. Conducting a complex scientific experiment, he destroys the school laboratory in the process and, along with it his reputation. But when Barney discovers that from the ashes of his disaster he has retained the incredibly disarming power of telekinesis his high school life suddenly becomes much more interesting. Partnered by scheming school pal Peyton Nichols (Willie Aames, Eight Is Enough), Barney sets out to use his power to turn his geek world upside down and rise to the top, to teach the bullies and naysayers a thing or two about humility and maybe even have a bit of naughty fun in the process!
