    Good product, works very well - but with some installation limitations.

    This works very well and overall I'm very pleased with it. However, the arm between the suction mount and the dish is quite short and doesn't articulate through a wide enough lateral angle. Because the suction mount has to be on a flat, vertical surface, and the front of most modern caravans isn't flat or vertical, it really has to be fitted on one of the sides. Unless the van can be aligned roughly East/West, there may not be enough room to align the dish for the satellites (which are mainly in the south) before the dish contacts the van.

    Remora limitations

    The design of the suction support bracket limits the ability to direct the dish hoizontally as the dish is very near to the wall it is being fixed to. Have had to mount the dish on an adapted ariel mast to lift it above the sidewall of my motorhome. Mount on a caravan jockey wheel would acheive the same thing.

    Maxview Remora 40

    Came across this product whilst googling which portable sat dish was best. Watched a few youtube videos and was very impressed at how easy they make it look to set up. First set up took a while to get the angles correct. But once there set for your required satellite its a doddle. Point it in the right direction. Fine tune it with a signal finder and your away. I was suprised at just how strong the suction cups are and the build quality of the whole product is to a high standard. It packs away in a nice small handy bag taking up very little room and weighs very little. Overall for the price i would highly recommend this dish but would recommend scanning the internet to see whats about and watching youtube videos to see what best suits your needs.

    It falls short of perfect

    The product would be better if you were able to tilt the suction cups so as it would hold onto a panel van side. As the side of the van is convex only one cup will hold.
