      Grover Tuners

      Six of the eight tuners are very nice. They are silky smooth and hold very well. Two of them (one on each side) have a small hitch in them that cause them to be hard to tune. I will spend a bit more next time I need them and upgrade. One great point is the cost.

      Stays true

      I had a tuning key break (it would turn and not effect the tuning of the string) on my favorite mandolin. I found the Grover tuning keys on Ebay bought them, replaced the old ones very simply and now it stays in tune better than ever. When I get it out of the case its still in tune from the last time I played it.

      Grover 304C Mandolin Tuners

      I bought these to use on a Harmony mandolin from the '60's and they line up nicely. I'll have to drill out each hole on the headstock just a bit to fit the sleeve that slides down the string winding shaft. These shafts are a bit taller than my originals, but will work just fine. Very happy with the quality and price. Grover lists the specs for this product, I've added a screenshot of them.

      Cheaper than buying in England

      I have always used these tuners on my mandolins. I can't fault them. I import them from America as it works out cheaper. I just have to be organised to allow for the shipping delay. mandolinmann
