      Helps with GERD cough

      It has really helped keep my GERD cough under control, although over the years, I've had to up the dose from once a night, to once per day and twice per night. At this point I could go to twice per day, but it started giving me the runs, so had to back off. I also add some baking soda to anything acidic (i.e. 1/4-tsp per 1-1/4 cup coffee and 1-1/2-tsp per large saucepan of mild chili), so that helps too.

      Aloe Vera is the queen of nature. Has bioactive compounds, great antioxidant and has antibacterial effects. Accelerates wound healing, great for dental plaque and the gums, helps treat canker sores, reduces constipation, it can also improve skin/prevent wrinkles, lowers blood sugar levels. GREAT PRODUCT I do recommend it to all.

      Helping Acid Reflux

      Aloe vera gel specifically from NOW was recommended by a friend for stomach issues. I've pretty much gotten off the prescription meds for acid reflux and am using this successfully I take a pill before breakfast and one before dinner.
