    Dare I say it? Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I have a comprehensive electronics lab full of the likes of Fluke, HP, Tektronix, Anritsu and many more but this instrument has found its rightful place amongst its brethren. Easy to use, great features (including those only found in much more pricey brands. Solid build couple with solid electronics yield a winner. Dave, may I suggest that the inclusion of a simple pouch would simply make it a champion not just a winner :-)

    Solid Construction / Feature Packed / Affordable

    Size and shape contour fits perfectly in hand. Hefty weight instills confidence. Rotary switch is good, but not as good as my Fluke 179. Test leads are a better design than my Fluke. The Brymen banana plugs have rubberized grips, making them easier to unplug from meter (my irritating Fluke banana plugs are low-profile and cheap plastic making them difficult to unplug from meter) Cables are flexible. The backlight evenly illuminates the entire display, and is twice as bright as the Fluke. Light stays on for 10 minutes so you don't feel like you have to rush to take your measurement (Fluke is 2 minutes, some meters are only 10 seconds). Capacitance measurement is fairly accurate and settles within 3 seconds. I checked out the diode tester on some red and green LEDs, including combined 3 pin ...

    Good meter for sure

    Good quality. Nice rubber bumper case with storage slots for the probes. I even used the thermocouple to check a soldering iron. I had to check the manual (online and good enough) for a couple of functions, but after that it's intuitive enough to use.
