  • Another Mikromir homerun!

Mikromir has carved itself a nice niche in the 1/350 submarine Kit market. The subjects can't be found anywhere else and they should be commended just for that. In addition however their kits have amazing detail include some Photo etch, have excellent decals and their instructions are short but clear. They are limited runs which makes them a little pricey but are worth it. This kit is portrays the USS Daniel Webster beautifully. It was the only Lafayette class submarine with fins at the bow in a snail sail. Sailors' nickname for the ship was "funny fins" because of this. I have become a fan of Mikromir 1/350 subs and have collected almost all of them. They are amazing!
