    Only briefly tested as back ups to a new installation. I had one other back up (not from this seller) which did not allow switching between C and F (or F to C) that is, from Celcius on the remote to Fahrenheit on the remote. The device will work regardless, but since use of temperature Measurement is not universal from country to country, some people may be perterbed they cannot see the correct units on the remote...
