      Simple, reliable, no frilles, does the job !

      Purchased it because normal can openers cant open tins of salmon ! From my british army days these were issued with the tinned rations & are reliable & simple. Although these are not original army issue but copies.

      Having used original army can openers you can tell they aren't the real thing, but they do open which is the main point of having them.

      Not very effective...

      Flimsy as hell. Barely handled a tin of peaches before bending. Sharp enough to pierce the can but not actually cut through, which they are meant to be designed for. I wouldnt imagine the army boys use these much!

      Spend a little extra and buy a genuine military one. Bent beyond use before I’d even finished opening the first can.
