  • HP MS-G013 Motherboard Review

I bought this motherboard with the intention of putting together a fast camera server that would be remotely operated and fanless. I installed the module in a HP slimline case and soon found out that the header connections are not suited for this case. I was able to get it working ok by rewiring some of the front panel connections. I installed a very large heat sink and a 35 watt intel 3.1ghz cpu. The cpu runs seems to be very fast and runs cool without fans. The problem is that there appears to be no way to boot the computer without pressing the F1 key on the keyboard after it reports fan errors. There is a BIOS setting that is supposed to override the fan errors and boot, but it don't work. Can't find documentation on header pinouts and BIOS revision information on the internet ...
