Plastic but worth it
This product is primarily plastic, but it's doing the job I need it to (with a little cutting and modifying. The plastic grid cover pops open at the top rather than unscrews so I needed to snap this off to fit in my larger bulb. This was a little too easy to break (even though it was intentional) and although that was perfectly fine for me, may be something to be aware of for anyone else buying this product. Completely suitable for domestic house and garage use. Good value too.
Excellent handlamp for domestic use and very good value, recommended without reservation for domestic use.. I do not think that it is suitable for commercial use (garages, building sites etc). The cage round the glass bulb protector is made of quite reilient plastic.
