    Best KLR Mod possible

    —Install tips at bottom of review— Ive looked at ever options for upgrading the front suspension on the 08-14 klrs and this is hands down the easiest, most affordable and most effective. I’ve been a motorcycle mechanic for 15 years, but just about anyone could swap these springs in under an hour. -The spacer should be cut to 3.25” for mid preload. You can add 0.25” for heavy preload or subtract 0.25” for lighter. -You’ll need a hook of some kind to pull the springs out of the fork tubes. I use a piece of bailing wire with a bend at one end. -This is a good opportunity to change the fork oil, but it’s not usually necessary. If you go slow and let the oil drip off the springs before pulling them out of the fork tube you won’t even have to add fork oil. -I recommend pairing this mod ...

    Great upgrade

    This small easy change is a huge upgrade on a klr it gets ride of the soft sloppy suspension. Improves braking no dive on the nose when trying to stop. Worth the $$ and is simple to do just look up videos if you need extra help

    Night and day difference

    Great upgrade for your forks. They still absorb plenty of hard hits without bottoming out, and no hard nose dives. The day I tossed these in I took the bike up to some rough trails and it handled like a champ. Bike feels much more solid, of course that's also with the rear shock upgraded too. But hands down it's a night and day difference.

    Some guys told me "don't waste your money" but OMG these springs are soooooo much better then the POS stock springs, fantastic results! I can't recomend them more, best $100 upgrade you can get. I cut my spacers at 3.375 for max heavy preload and love the feel! 2014 KLR650 (old edition)

    Nice fork spring kit

    Very nice high quality fork spring kit for my KLR650. An inexpensive upgrade that takes out the front end sag of the stock springs. The kit comes with PVC pipe as spacers but the stock steel spacers can be shortened as an option.
