    Favorite Tele Pickups

I love these pickups. I am so glad I read an obscure review about them. The price has gone up recently like all Fender products, but they are still a great deal and awesome pickups. I love'em. No reason to spend more $$$ to get a great set of Tele pickups. I have more expensive pickups, these replaced them.

  • The only possible choice

If you play a telecaster, and you have any other pickups fitted, you are not getting the true telecaster experience. The Vintage 52s are the only sensible choice. For some reason, they have so much presence that they blow every other pickup set out of the water. I've replaced every telecaster I've ever owned with these pickups, and never been disappointed

  • Original Fender Vintage Pickup Set is a Great 'Bang for the Buck' !

I've been playing Guitar since I was 12 years old and I'm 63 now. I have had most of the REALLY High End Guitars and, naturally, still do have quite a few of them. However, one of the things I began doing over the years as I learned not just more regarding playing but about the Craftsmanship involved in building Guitars. I have lived in Boston all of my life and long gone are the days of 'Great Pawn Shop Finds'. This and the knowledge I've accumulated as to what goes into making a simply GOOD Guitar started me on a path where I would find a GOOD Clone of specific Guitar Model Type for LOW money and then proceed to rebuild it with all necessary components to simply do just that; i.e., transform a Low End Guitar into a GOOD and reliable piece while naturally taking Tone and it's ability to ...

  • Tele sound!

I put this pickups in my mexican standard tele and it really got better. Definition and twang. Excuse my english. Puse estas cápsulas en mi tele mexicana y el sonido cambió de manera muy notoria. Vale la pena realizar el cambio. Gana en definición y twang.

  • What a Telecaster should sound like

I did a Waldrop body build. I originally bought Fender 52 nocaster pickups. They sounded dirty, muffled. I should have bought the original vintage pups from the start. Controls Are 2x250 pots and a .22 sprague cap Sounds like a Telecaster should. Larry Mutz
