    Great easy DIY replacement to the costly cable company modem

    We purchased this because it just didn't make sence to rent from the cable company if we could get this. It paid for itself in 6 months and as our son found out turned out to be a faster solution. He is a gamer, and said this was measurably about 12 to 16% faster, and speeds dipped less during prolonged high speed use. Better, faster, cheaper, no brainer.
