It is not standard perfectly smooth thread, it's as the description clearly states, Serger thread, you can run it through a non-serger machine, but make sure the eye on your needle is big enough to not catch the tiny bumps in the thread.

Packed in thin plastic bag which could have allowed dings on these cardboard containers & then I would have been very Annoyed (so packing not good IMO) All in all best I could get deal for this type of item on here and they are nice TU
