The speakers (EdifierR1280DB) were advertised as reconditioned but when I received them and opened the package everything looked new. There was a hardly perceivable scratch on top of one of the speakers that hinted the speakers may not be new. The speakers produce excellent sound, particularly for the money. Communication with the seller was excellent and postage was quick. I don't have any hesitation in recommending this seller A++++
