Sorry to hear you're not happy with the item, we would have gladly helped resolve any issues, you would only have needed to send us a quick message and we would have assisted. I can assure you these are 100% genuine HP cables, they were sourced from an authorised HP/HPE UK Distributor. As for the scratches on the connectors, I suspect this is simply from testing as HP will likely test every cable before they leave the factory.
