I LIKE THE KNIFE. RARE AROUND HERE. AS FOR CONDITION, LISTED AS "NEW", I HAVE TO TAKE ISSUE WITH THAT. MAYBE "NEW" MEANS SOMETHING DIFFERENT DOWN UNDER, BUT HERE IT MEANS "NEW". THE BACKSIDE OF THE BLADE, WITH ONLY ONE PIC IN THE LISTING, LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE HAD THIS KNIFE IN AND OUT OF THE SHEATH MANY TIMES AS THE COATING ON THE BLADE IS WORN DOWN TO THE BLADE METAL IN A GOOD SIZED AREA. NOT REALLY 'NEW' CONDITION TO ME . OUTER PKGING WAS VERY GOOD. FOAM P'NUTS IN THE KNIFE BOX WERE SCANT

The knife is NEW it has never been used, by its one owner, myself. Yes it has been removed from the sheath on perhaps 4 occasions over the past 20+ years, for different inspections, which unfortunately may have put small marks on the blade. The combination of Schrades not so durable coating and a friction sheath make it impossible to not have handling marks, even on first inspection.
