Hi, This is a raw XPS board and does not have a skin on it. I think you may have ordered the incorrect product. It sounds like you wanted our Thermsheet product which is a dense foam sandwiched between cementious/fibreglass webbing. I am sorry that this product isnt what you wanted, but it is most certainly fit for purpose as we have sold lots of this for under slab insulation. Perhaps next time give us a call and double check with us what your intended use is.
