    Twists and Turns

    Non stop action with so many plot twists I was never bored. Acting is outstanding especially the lead protagonist Penguin. Robin Lord Taylor deserves and Emmy for his performance as the umbrella carrying criminal mastermind. A great cast all around with more and more comic book characters being added each season. I love this series but the one down side is it will remind you too much of Arrow, even using one of the same characters.

    Wow! A great series!

    I took a chance on this one, and I am sure glad I did. Writing, production values and acting are all superb. It is not a movie about Batman, as it is the evolution of Batman. I am on Season 3, and it has been keeping me up way past my bedtime, just to see where the twists and turns in the script go. The Complete Series, I bought on the Bay, has Thai & Korean subs, so I am assuming it is an import, and not the official WB release. But so far, all discs are playing flawlessly. Highly recommended!

    If you aren't a Batman fan, watch this and you will be!

    Gotham is basically the story of Bruce Wayne as a kid, how he became Batman, events that happened in Gotham, etc. It covers the background of other characters as well such as Penguin, Cat Woman, Poison Ivy, Fish Mooney, Mr Freeze, EVERY VILLIAN in Batman pretty much! haha! My husband is a Batman fanatic. Me, not so much....until I watched this. We LOVE it.

    A Great Series

    Including the references to movies by Hitchcock and that famous monster created by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, this series is an emotional as well as intellectual journey that precedes the Batman stories that we enjoyed in DC comics when we were kids. Characters are powerful and just as you think you have them figured out, they do a complete 180 and leave you with your mouth hanging open saying, " oh no, they didn't" I can't wait to buy season 4!! Bring back Fish Mooney!!
