About this product

Product Information

Half-Life 2: Episode One continues the single-player story from the critically acclaimed Half-Life 2. Players slip on the battered spectacles of Dr. Gordon Freeman to engage in more alien and mutant battles from within the decaying walls of City 17. The expansion pack also focuses on freedom fighter Alyx Vance and her robotic companion, Dog, as they team up with Freeman to defeat the oppressive alien race known as the Combine. Though the add-on's length is shorter than the campaign found in Half-Life 2, offering an estimated four to six hours of play, the narrative addresses lingering questions and fleshes out the story lines of the principal characters in greater detail. In addition, the game introduces new ways to interact with the environment and includes a number of other surprises.

  • The Extiting sequal

The all aqaiting game has finnaly hit the stores. This gives all the elements of Half life 2 gave you but NOTHING NEW! When buying this game don't expect a new gaming expirience. This game is still entertaining but the short 3 to 4 hour game play will end when you start having fun. They say time flys buy when your having fun and that might be the reason. The gasping visuals will have you looking all over the screens. This is a must buy game if you have any intrest in the greatest franchise ever that rivals Halo. A Must Get Game

  • you need to buy new

when i bout the game off ebay was happy to get it i tryed to install and found that it requires an unused key code to install i then had to pay steam to play the game the only other way is to get the account user name and password of who ever created the steam account with that cd now who is going to give up those i mite ad the price from steam was not to hard to swallow

  • Absolutly Fantastic RPG a must have 4 any RPGcollection

Being a fan of FPS, Quake DOOM etc, When I heard it was a RPG I thought I wasn't going to like it. But my Son had played the Demo and assured me I'd like it. Boy am I glad I did buy it... I Love it... The story lines a little short but it's not a full game to begin with... The ONE THING I do not like about it is that. You must have an Internet Connection to install it. You should be able to install it on your PC and Play it without having to have the Internet. The Steam Acct shouldn't need to be added to your System Tray just to play it yourself takes up Valuable Sys Resources. And for you who are running "VISTA" I've got Vista Home Basic, and even though This Version is Only Rated for XP, It runs JUST FINE on my Box... It's one of the Best RPG's I've ever Played.... ENJOY....

  • Decent game

I bought for really cheap like around 3.50 with free shipping so i got quite a deal. This has some decent games with it half life 2 death match, half life source. The game its self has extremely good graphics the only thing i dont like is you only use the gravity gun in the single player mode of the game and you kill everything exceptionally easy. Where is the challenge??? however if you can get this game cheap like i did i would say go for it.

  • Game lovers Heaven

I am truely convinced that the best deals are here on Ebay. Sure you can get whatever you want on sale but why wait when its at your finger tips here on Ebay. I love the fact that at any given time day or night I can shop for anything, and it gives me something to look forward to in the mail besides bills, that in itself is refreshing. Enjoy you shopping on Ebay , I know I do. Thanks Ebay for making it almost effortless and exciting
