I called customer service and they asked a few questions and then gave me return instructions. I told them I was going to try to jury rig the electrical connection which I was able to do. I had some electronic/electrical connectors with wires attached. I pushed on the two small connectors and then filled the hole (jack) with rtv and let it harden overnight. I cut the wiring harness and spliced the two new wire ends. Works great.
