Liz Phair was certainly at a different point in her life at the time of this album. It is nothing like her other grungy sexually aggressive albums. There is one or two songs that are sexually oriented but if you've ever heard her Girlysound Demos this album is a Disneyland Record in comparison. It is a great album and one of my favorites. You can see the softer side of Liz because at the time she was married and had just had her son. Buy the album...you won't be disappointed and you just may be able to play it in front of other people.

  • I got in trouble for playing this too much!

In 1998, when this album debuted I worked for a community radio station. The manager had to put me aside for playing this album too much. I loved it so much I played it every shift. I have it in my collection now and it is still one of my favorites.
