The Sony VRD-MC6 DVD Recorder lets the owner create a DVD of home movies or digital photos without the use of a PC. The user simply connects a VCR, DVR, or camcorder to his or her Sony DVD Recorder and the data copies over. A VRD-MC6 DVD Recorder has four slots for memory cards of various sizes. With real-time recording capabilities from most recording devices, the Sony DVD Recorder offers immediate results with high definition capabilities in 1080i resolution. A built-in 2.7-inch color LCD screen on the Sony VRD-MC6 DVD Recorder permits the user to preview up to 6 digital photos or 1 video at a time. The user can create titles and DVD menus from four present designs on the Sony DVD Recorder. The device also permits users to create DVD chapter markers every 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The unit will record on 8.5 GB DVD+R Double Layer Discs as well as 4.7 GB DVD+R/+RW/-R/-RW discs.

    Very good quality device

    The best device to save your family memories quickly and easy without any laptop or software. Vrd mc6 is well made, always keeping the high Sony’s standards. I regret that I didn’t purchased it few years earlier and was trying to convert my old tapes using an external software. Vrd mc6 made this procedure easy and fast. Thanks.

    Sony is king

    What can you say about the VRD MC6 Brilliant, as long as everything else you put through it, is sony. The mini dv port will connect any make, canon etc. As technology progress, connections like the S, CF, become redundant, as new versions of the VRD are produced they are not catered for. It's a shame. The VRDs are amazing bit of kit.
