Objects in mirror...
From the photo, this router looks quite small, about the size of a soda can but upon opening the box the truth is revealed. This is a large router and is missing so many key features. I really don't like how they "dumb down" the firmware to make it "easy" to setup.. Quite the opposite really. There are no indicator lights on it apart from an "everything is okay" light at the front. I like to see when the wireless is active and the other ports too. It feels very empty and plasticy. I didn't like this router at all and immediately regretted purchasing it. Performance was pretty decent given all the 1Gbps ports and dual band. This is definitely a mixed bag of pros and cons. Good internal connection WIFI, but very slow connection modem - internet.
Unfortunately I had to go back to my old gear / separate modem and dual band router/. The only reason is that with AC1750 my download /not upload/ speed dropped down ca 25%. I talk to my SP, try different connections, etc. Perhaps its good for highspeed net, but not for standard wired connection. Rgds, Ziggy

Easy to set up with great results. My son installed it for me and it works great, have not sued it for file sharing yet but that is to come
