The drama revolves around a troubled teenager with wild experiences in high school due to his secret identity as a superhero with mysterious powers. The Smallville - Season One starts from beginning with Clark Kent (Tom Welling) on the verge of becoming a full-fledged superhero, but he has to face great challenges in high school before embarking on the journey to save mankind. Apart from fighting the evil prevalent in the town, Clark also has to deal with the struggles at school in Smallville - Season One, including dealing with his crush on the gorgeous Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) and founding a strong friendship with Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). This six-disc set contains the entire season with a choice of Dolby stereo or 5.1 sound and amazing picture details while retaining the original picture structure. The DVD has an aspect ratio of 1.77:1 and run time of 954 minutes.

    SMALLVILLE - ALL 10 CHAPTERS

    The series is both entertaining and challenging. Good writing. A new adventure in every episode. Each episode ends 5 minutes early so they can include a small thriller at the end. ONE BIG PROBLEM.....I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL DISC THAT WILL NOT PLAY AND SEVERAL OTHER EPISODES THAT WILL NOT PLAY - AND HAVE TRIED THEM ON 2 DVD PLAYERS.... Enjoy the actors and they carry their lines very well.....Many new things have been added to the SUPERMAN story along each and every episode....Hope you can get a set that works better than mine, and I still like it.....I gave it 4 stars only because on the many missing episodes due to Disc Defects.... If they had all worked, I would have given it 5 stars for sure......Great graphics and colors...!!!

    A Superman Prequel Series...

    I have always had one question: exactly how does Warner Bros. make a 10 season series that is a prequel for how Superman came to be? So I decided to go to my local library and find out. I picked up Season 1 and brought it home. I decided to watch the first four episodes, and I saw a potential. So I had to pick up my own copy for myself. Not gonna review the first season, because I haven't watched all of it yet, but I am looking forward to watching the rest! Also, the copy I got had tags on it from the place it came from. Not a big problem, just a nitpick.

    Damaged case.

    Got the show earlier than expected so that's a plus. One of the dvd holders has come loose from the paper case and dvds had been sliding around during shipping but other than that I love it. I finished the first disc and I really like the show so far.
