I have been in DMR for three years now. I have two older DMR radios and this Anytone 878UVII Plus radio has more features then the two others I have combined. It's build quality is also excellent. Anyone who purchases this radio will not be disappointed. It has great sound quality and I get GREAT signal reports with all my QSO's.

For a DMR handheld is a good radio with many features not found in cheaper models. Also having 578uv III plus moving info between the 2 (using same code plug info) is fast and easy. Great little radio

Feels like it's built solid. More than enough talk groups, channels, zones and contacts for DMR and analog. I'll probably never need another portable radio for 2m or 70cm DMR or analog. Hard to find tip: To use the Func hotkeys, hold down the green "-" button until it says "Next Please Press Dial Key". (Of course, I could have read the manual, but who wants to do that?)
