Item is as described and even checks out dead-on with a calibration ring. My only concern was the packaging- this bore micrometer was wrapped in two thin layers of bubble wrap and placed in a bubble mailer envelope. This is not sufficient packaging for a delicate piece of metrology equipment, and the fact that it arrived without damage is likely just luck.
