Don't throw out your old fluorescent light. This electronic balast makes it better than new.
It takes some time to install, but this electronic balast works great. The magnetic balast that this replaced was about 5 times heavier than this electronic balast. This balast fit into the space left after removing the old balast without any modifications. With this new electronic balast the lights come on instantly and with no flickering when the switch is turned on. It is a vast improvement over the older style magnetic balast. Great replacement for heavy outdated ballasts.
This was a direct replacement for an Advance R2S35-4-TP, 40W T12. It's a 1/4 of the weight and fastens and wires the same. No humming noise, fast startup.
