75 bucks? Take my damn money!!
The only reason it's not 5* is because the XB43 exists. I have one of each, they pair well together... but the 43 is significantly more powerful. Dont get me wrong, this is a great value at $75. If you're looking for a high quality Bluetooth speaker for under 80 bucks, this is definitely a winner. I sampled the JBL as well as the Bose comparables before selecting this device, this lil guy outperforms both in not just the clarity and low end rumble... it also has some intriguing additional features such as the LED lighting, as well as some fun DJ features built into the Music Center App.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Less than impressed
The Sony SRS-XB33 is okay, but there's certainly nothing special about it. The sound quality is acceptable. The maximum volume is disappointing. The design is okay. It easily connects to my phone via Bluetooth. In short, it does what it's supposed to do. It came packaged in a plain box with no instructions. That's not really a problem, but I would have been more impressed if it had been packaged for retail sale. At the full retail price, it would be somewhat overpriced. But the re-built price is fair I suppose. I've only used it a sparingly so far, so I don't know how long the battery will hold a charge. Only time will tell if I've wasted my money. Looks and sounds great while being space-saving. Horizontal and vertical placement is a convenient feature for desk and mobile needs. Honest review
Ok, so when I first read the many reviews talking about sound volume and "booming bass," I admit I was excited and was expecting probably more than I should have. I wouldn't call this "booming bass," but it is better than any of my previous bluetooth speakers. That being said, you can sure turn these up without near as much distortion, and they do get loud, especially for use in my garage or backyard, and I feel like I got my money's worth! It feels well built, battery life was good, and the features are nice. Great sound

Solid little speaker!
Very well built, has some weight to it. The option of placing it horizontally or vertically is a convenient feature. Sound is very good for such a small unit. The “Live” preset setting is my favorite. The Certified Refurbished model is a great deal at about 1/3 the retail price. Built in party lights are fun, although I usually keep them switched off.

Great speaker for the price
Honestly for the price it is fantastic. Its very loud for when I'm at work and can hear it well over machinery. If I walk away I'd say you can hear it clearly from 50 feet or more depending on the music. The live feature is better for certain genres. My only complaint is the battery doesn't last the claimed time but since it was referbished I assumed the battery might have some wear and tear. Still can usually get 8+ hours at max volume. I was very impressed with the sound quality of the speaker. Very impressed with the amount of bass it puts out for such small speakers. Great that you can link up to 100 of these.
