I was able to get this to work as a replacement, so satisfied. I do think the "barrel" section is a milimeter or two too long, which makes the lever stick out a bit below the battery door (not flush), which I think might be a weakness and it may break. But I am quite happy with this and pleased to have a spare for the future as well. Worth a try if your door latch is broken, and much less expensive (and wasteful) than replacing the door!

Thanks for the positive review. With respect to the barrel being to high, is it possible your camera is E-M1 Mark I? The barrel is shorter for the E-M5 Mark II/OMD E-M1 Mark I version and might be a better fit. Thanks again

Apparently a previous owner had already tried to fix the battery door latch (used OM-D E-M1 Mk II) as the locking blade and stop arm were in the wrong order . The pictures in the article description seem to show the battery door of another Olympus camera model, not the E-M1 II, maybe the E-M5 II? Anyway, I did manage to replace the broken lever and everything seems to be working as intended...

Just fyi for other buyers - this latch did not work on my Olympus OM-D EM-5 Mark II. My model is the silver and black version. I needed a lever with 4 small notches, not 2 pins. I do not fault the seller. I knew there was a chance that this lever would not work, but it was worth a try.
