So many of my type/1800's romance movies which are very hard to find at a decent price. Large large choice. Very satisfied and will shop here in the future. I have had a really hard time finding such romance movies in that setting. I have been in several stores which were too expensive. I don't know about the rest of the world but I can't pay 25 or 30 dollars for a movie no matter how well I like it. There are a lot of movies my grandchildren will like also. Be a nice place to let them pick out some when they come visit. All age groups can be satisfied in this store. Also Buy It Now means a lot when you don't have time to set and watch a auction. Tragic Tale of Maggie
This PBS movie was one of George Eliot's most popular novels. It's the story of Maggie Tulliver (Pippa Guard), the miller's daughter, who falls in love with poor Philip Wakem. She defies her bitter brother (Christopher Blake) and stands by the man she loves, shocking society. Maggie wants to pursue her dreams and so we have all of the drama, romance, tragedy and humor one movie can offer. Mill on the Floss is classic reading and if you are not into books at least see this movie. It is done almost to the letter of the novel.This PBS movie was one of George Eliot's most popular novels.
