Brilliant gift for horse loving friends and those in need of companionship

This is a beautifully illustrated book of wisdom about life - the illustrations are a huge part of the book - with a style and life of their own and minimal impactful words. I've bought it as a gift for 5 friends, some of whom are horse lovers, some not and they seem to have got as much from it as I have. If you have a friend who is struggling with their life or where they find themselves, I suggest Charlie Mackesy's wonderful book, could help normalise and reassure, for all age groups. I read my own copy, in full - not hard to do, most nights before bed and find great comfort in both the story and the tone of the commentary - it has become a 'most treasured' item.

This is a Con. But the real book is beautiful - get a proper hard copy!!

I was conned. This is not a copy of the book being sent. While the product details have been updated since I bought it you just get emailed a PDF of the book. They hid the fact this was not a hard copy as when ordering it required a UK postal address, said it was a new copy and gave a reasonable delivery date!! If I wanted a PDF I could have scanned pages from my own copy! This was meant to be a gift! (and a PDF of someone else's book seems to break copyright laws / is theft of someone else's work?) The actual book (which I already have a copy of) is beautiful. Beautiful simple art, with lovely poignant, simple messages. A gorgeous gift (I gifted it to myself)!! Do buy it. But get a real copy and don't get conned like I did!!

  • "Positivity in pictures."

Purchased for my 13 year old granddaughter when she was feeling very low in the current situation. I had seen some of the pictures and found them very positive and full of hope. Two days later I received a very happy message from her saying it was 'Wonderful and the best book ever!' She said she could not put it down. So I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who is pessimistic and fearful of the future, unfortunately a reflection of our current times.

  • Beautifull, fresh and inspiring

Brand new book well presented on delivery. The illustrations are beautiful and the lessons in the pages are valuable. This is a book for all ages and I think that everyone should have it on their shelf. It really made my heart happy and I highly recommend it purely because of how much love the author has put into his work. A good book is one that you can feel, and this is one such book.

  • A must read for every one.

This book is an excellent read. The drawings and sketchings in the book are beautiful. I don't know what it was but something compelled me to read this book several times. You can not help but get engrossed in the meaning of this well written book. Very hard to explain but this book has so much meaning for life and our world. I thoroughly recommend reading this book. Truly a book for all ages even to read to young children.
