    good for apartment dwellers

    I hated hauling my bike upstairs to my apartment, so I got one of these and mounted it next to my car in the garage, purchased an expensive lock and hung it there. I also put my helmet on the bike and a windbreaker jacket and gloves so I didnt have to carry that stuff upstairs either. We're not talking super security but the bike was only a $500 one, if it were at $3,000 plus road bike I'd take it to my apartment. Anyways it worked great.

    Find a stud and you are solid.

    Used this to store my 27lbs mtn bike. Screwing this into a stud took alot of drilling and screwing. Ultimately, i used a power drill first and got a longer, bigger screw driver and tightened this up. I ike this wall post because you can mount from the seat or wheels.
