The alarmingly prolific Anne Perry [is] a master of the genre." The Seattle Times "No matter which series she's writing about, Perry is really exploring issues of guilt and redemption, widening her scope to a global scale that gives her much more than just nineteenth-century London to worry about." The Boston Globe "Perry has an undeniable knack for suspense . . . and her re-creation of the Victorian era is engrossing."
