I bought this scanner to replace on I had. Right away I could tell a huge difference in quality scans! The other thing I like about the Wolverine is I can adjust the brightness, so I can correct over or under exposed slides. I was able to scan a Kodak Carousel batch of 80 slides in less than a half an hour. I read reviews by photography sites and they recommended this scanner, so I took the chance on it! I have been pleased so far with the results!

  • Good film and negatives scanner for a good price.

It scans well, and fairly simple to use. The film holder is a bit of a pain to snap open, or closed, but not really a big deal. I'm happy with the resolution and colors, and of course, they are limited to what's on the film, which is usually not as good as modern digital cameras.

  • Less than 2 seconds per scan. Exposure value and RGB values adjustable. 20MP resolution.

Very pleased with the unit. Fast scan. No moving parts other than slide/negative carrier. Small footprint. Works independently of computer. Photo transfer by USB or moving the SDCard to the computer. Fantastic resolution, images are 5472x3648 pixels with 72dpi. I use a 32MB SDCard.

  • Does what it is supposed to do

I've never used one of these before so I can't make any comparisons. But after getting the buttons figured out (you need to read the directions) it does a good job of converting old slides to decent looking photos.

This device is so fast and easy to use, and does a very acceptable job of converting slides and negatives.
