I buy and try tons of putters. A putter is the the most club in the bag and correct specifications are vital. The Anser Milled is a great looking, feeling, and sounding flat stick. It looks modern yet retains the classic Ping aura. One of my first putters was the beryllium copper Anser 2. As a Ping loyalist, I've had a steady stream of its products. The Milled is a solid putter and well constructed. Very clean lines and the perfect appearance at address. The feel is slightly muted due to the grooves. Feedback is firm and not dull. The two drawbacks are the shaft and headweight. Ping putter shafts are stiff and harsh. Please bring back the older stepped shafts with more feel. Also why the lack of variable weighting? A company that promotes proper fitting ought to offer more weight variations. Overall a quality, one-piece forged putter that will please Ping fans and purists.Read full review
I was always curious about this Anser 2 putter ever since I invested in a Scotty Cameron Newport 2. The Anser shape was the model for most Cameron putters. Anser is a great putter, incredible value. Scotty, did it one better though by getting a better feel at impact from the putter face versus the Anser. The Anser has a bit more pop feeling instead of a softer roll that I get from my Scotty. This will be my backup putter if I ever lose or break my Scotty. If you a short stroke type putter, a popper, than the Anser will be good for you.
great putter, balance and looks very good. put on larger grip which gives more control. I guess I need to enter 100 words, however sometimes you don't need all those words if the item can be described as excellent with just a few descriptive words, which can be interpreted by someone with some form of intelligence, thereby negating the need to put in extra words of description unless this review is read by non-golfers who could care less about a review concerning a golf putter, of which they have no interest. Now, I described why I liked the putter, and there is nothing I dislike about it. I decided to buy it because I needed a putter and this looked like it was one I could use with comfort. But, to be honest, I have now switched putter and am using a different Ping putter. I will keep this putter (as I have many others) and bring it out when I feel I need putter improvement in my game.Read full review
Why are other brands still imitating this design? Cast, forged, or milled—they are all mere imitations and variations of PING's original designs. Prices of NEW imitations vary from $20 to hundreds of dollars for milled models; so why not own an original, especially with a brass alloy head. Get one in very good, excellent or mint condition for pride of ownership, keep it in clean shape, use it regularly, and take a back seat to no brand and no one, regardless of cost! As far as equipment is concerned, you can't go wrong—the rest is up to you.
This majestic club putts like a dream. You have incredible feel and touch over your stroke. If you don't know what that means, you will when you use this putter. It is lightweight, easy to line up, and offers a nice, smooth stroke. I play golf, and also enjoy mini-golf. I'm considering purchasing a second one for mini-golf–it's that good! Unless you can afford a top-of-the-line putter, that will set you back $200 or $300, this is THE putter to buy.
Bought as an investment because of its rarity. The putter was well priced, and in excellent condition. I of course tried it on the golf course and have never putted better with 12-13-12 putts on each occasion for 9 holes, unreal, tour numbers, playing partners are amazed, mw too. You cant beet the best quality. would love to use this trader again and again.

This is simply the best putter that I have owned. I have a Rossi from Taylormade along with some cheap putters. You will start by finding a super comfortable grip. It just feels plush and secure at the same time even in the rain. The weighting is well done and keeps the putter on line. The previous owner obviously took very good care of the putter. Aligning the putter is simple. The ball leaves the face of the putter very softly and gets rolling right away down the target line.
Great feel and love the grip.
