Make sure you bundle if at all possible to keep shipping costs down. The bulb is actually as advertised. It is almost pure white light, and it really is subjectively double the brightness for sure. Focus pattern is tight, although a tiny bit bigger as I have two exact same flashlights I compared it to. The Maglite bulb is 100% pure white, while this has a barely noticeable greenish hue. Very bright.
