Better than the remake.
After watching the remake which according to critics was better than the original I bought the original. Much better than the remake. Not the greatest film ever made but an accurate portrayal of the Battle of Midway.

This is an abbreviated version which has some scenes deleted from the original full length movie. It was not stated that it is less than the full length version as originally marketted. This DVD was intended to replace our older but degraded VHS tape.
