About this product

Product Information

Mega Man X6 is yet another addition to the long-running Capcom franchise. Picking up immediately after the events in Mega Man X5, the Blue Bomber finds himself investigating recent reports of reploids running amok. Only he can save the reploids and avenge Zero's sacrifice. Following the same formula that the series' forefathers adhered to, this latest PlayStation incarnation sees Mega Man X traveling through eight levels, each of which houses a boss character whose weapon can be claimed by Mega Man X once defeated. As an added bonus, Mega Man X can now use Zero's sword throughout his adventure.

New to the series is the "Nightmare System" which actually changes certain aspects of the title based upon your actions. Depending on what you do in a particular level, subsequent levels will be populated by different enemies, and certain areas will be unlocked. The system also randomizes level maps, enemy placement and endings, essentially creating a slightly different game each time through.

Great seller, good communication and well packaged. Received some bonus cards in the back sleeve that weren't mentioned so that was very nice as well. Thank you :)

Shipping was held for two weeks approx. due to insufficient postage. Upon contacting, a refund or offer to reship was offered; some cards were lacking, wasn't complete, but for the majority, they were in NM condition and couldn't beat the price per volume. It arrived within a week once they cleared up the shipping issue. I can suppliment other cards in later easily enough to complete this set now. I'd consider using this seller again, probably overall.

Underrated game in Mega Man X series

Mega Man X 6 gets a bad wrap as Keiji inafune wished for X5 to be the swan song for the series. Sure the story has plot holes but the X series wasn't so much on story as the action. The nightmare is a throwback to x1 and x3 in the sense that the order you take on the mavericks changes the rest of the stages. The scoring system is better than x5 and zero is a beast in this game once you obtain enough nightmare souls and save enough reploids. Also nice music touches such as redux versions of classic mega man x tracks and the alternate stages bring replay ability to X6. Criminally underrated game that is still a strong entry in the megaman x series.

  • You wouldnt be reading this if you DON'T like X series.

Ok, you played X5 right?, because its the same thing. (Not that theres anything worng with this, but a bonus is X CAN use the Z-saber, but the only thing you can do is swing it once..and thats it. The bosses and levels are pretty cool the cut scenes have Jap voice dubs which sound awesome, over english text. If you're a fan of the X series, buy this game hell if you're a youngster and you're just getting to play megaman games still buy this game..its enjoyable, not terrible.

  • Great game, great price!

One of my old favorites, game works great with no issues.

  • A classic sequel to a classic game!

X is at it again, and Zero is missing. Mega Man X6 combines all of the greatest elements of the previous X games, while adding new twists and style. The game keeps to the original style using eight standardized stages, which some players find enjoyable, and others find it repetitive. All in all, a fantastic classic.

  • GREAT GAME, A MUST HAVE

This is one of the best games i have ever played. This is the 3rd best mega man x game, after mega man x & mega man x4. I like this game because it has a good challenge. I hate people crying about how that this game is too hard, look games have to be hard, where is the fun when a game is too easy to beat. Get this game its better than X5. The game has the original japanese voices, the new armors are great, X can use Zero's Sword, and a get story.
