These are complex mechanical and electronic devices. In general Furbies are very entertaining in that they actually talk to one another and are happy little people. The baby unit has very loud gears that almost drown out the small voice that comes out. I tried to lubricate the gears by taking the unit all apart but was not successful in quieting down the mechanism. The other babies that we have have quieter gears. The larger one seems to have the the motion detector not working properly as it starts up but wants to go to sleep right away. So what I am saying is that if you buy these units sight unseen, make sure that they are tested and working properly or else they are not worth very much money. Most of the beauty in these toys is the ability to speak. Also some of these items can get ... These are complex mechanical and electronic devices. furby came home safe and sound
very well packaged ! my furbys condition matched the description, and if anything he was better than i expected. he works perfectly and although he needs a lil cleaning he isn’t super worse for wear. i love him so much, thank you! (photo shows his eyelash missing because i removed it)

I love her so much :) she's in fantastic condition, much better than I was expecting (excluding some slight sun damage to the eyelids but that's no big deal considering her age). And she works perfectly well! I don't keep batteries in my furbies usually so I wouldn't mind if she didn't work but WOW she works like new. And she's so precious.
