    Jessica by Bryce Courtenay

    I love a number of books by Bryce Courtenay, but this is my absolute favorite. This book is harder to find in the US, as it is not printed here. Its a well-written book that has been based around the lives of people who actually lived a long time ago, based on records that were researched well before this was written.
