Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, this acclaimed guitarist's 3rd solo effort embodies a unique sound rooted in country, swing, jazz, rock and blues. Firkins' 1990 Shrapnel debut album won him international accolades which led to his being voted Guitar Player's Best New Talent of the Year, just under Eric Johnson; his 2nd album, Chapter 11, was a critic's favorite. His lyrical guitar style has been compared to Jeff Beck, Joe Walsh and David Gilmour, but Firkins' amazing faux slide technique puts him in a class all his own.
