Easy transaction, item would have arrived earlier on time except the post office shipped the item back out of town, and then back again, was very strange. But the item itself was exactly as described, item was well packaged. Very happy with this transaction, very affordable item and shipping was very fair. Would buy from this seller again, thanks!

    Marvelous Musical

Combine Fred Astaire, Vera Allen, and Red Skelton with old fashioned jazz and you will have one happy evening...a definite cure for the blues! And no foul language to worry about.

  • Wonderful movie!

This movie has listed Red Skelton as the only one in the leading role. Fred Astaire should also be listed since they both are the headliners. The movie is great with wonderful songs, Fred and Vera-Ellen dance beautifully together. Althought it is known that it doesn't capture the "real" story of Kalmar and Ruby it does provide some insight as to past history. How many people are aware that song sheets were the main way of getting songs out to the public? Many kids of today never saw a record or a record player. Both Fred Astaire and Red Skelton were great in their parts. Dottie

  • Three Little Words

This is a film I saw on its release in 1950 as a kid and thought was terrific. I didn't run across it again until I was in my twenties, when I was surprised at what good taste I had as a kid. I've watched it a couple of times in recent years on Turner Classic Movies and am now delighted to have it on DVD. Overall, I still rate it as a highly enjoyable musical with some spectacular sequences and the ever-masterful Fred Astaire. I rank Arlene Dahl in the "I Love You So Much" musical number as one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen on the screen and the "I Wanna Be Loved by You" sequence with Debbie Reynolds and Carlton Carpenter is simply a pure delight.

  • A must for Red Skelton fans

I got this out of our local library. I enjoy musicals and found this one very entertaining. I grew up watching Red Skelton on TV, but wasn't really aware of his musical talents. It's an enjoyable movie, and I purchased it for my own library.

  • Worth Watching for Nostalgia

Fred Astaire and Vera-Ellen dance sequences are worth watching alone but it has a loosely true story and is a sweet movie for nostalgia loving folks.
