    i decided to do the overlays because i really didn't want to go through the emblem removal process. as of now .i am happy i went with the overlays. it's an perfect fit no play cover. plus it covers the 1/8 or less of the 3m tape they use to stick the emblem to the truck for i much cleaner look. the tape on the overlays adhere to the front facing flat plat of the emblem. really like the pull tabs to get the 2 way tape exposed well see if the tape holds up
