I am not interested in English style riding of horses. I prefer western so doing all of the contests just weren't for me. However, grooming and caring for the horses was kind of cool since I can't own a real horse! If you are an adult with any kind of busy schedule and responsibilities I don't recommend that you get this game. It is better for adolescent and young teens who love horses. It would be a great summer game for kids. Especially for those rainy days and long car trips. For adults... if you are into these kind of games... I would recommend "DOGZ". Very cute and not so time consuming. Just keep them clean, watered and fed... or you could just get a real dog. :o)
Brings back memories of my childhood. I bought this to replace the game my sister lost. I had to relearn how to play it, of course, but I feel like I'm 8 years old again.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
I got this game for my daughter for her 8th birthday alone with a DS. She loves the game and plays it alot. The colors on the game are nice and bright and easy to play. You can use the stylist to rub the screen and brush your horez and you can even see the hair flying around. It is a perfect game for a little girl from 8-14 in my opinion. I got it brand new for a awsome price and it was worth every penny Highly recommend 5*****
It is hard to find ds games for young 8 year old girls. She loves horses. This game was nonviolent and she plays it alot since it is her interest. Nice to have a unisex game that is noncombative and not aimed towards boys only.It is not paced fast and takes some patience. Yet not another shopping or overly girly game! She enjoys it a lot!
I love the way my daughter really gets in the game and has a ton of fun. She is 11 years old and wants horses but right now it just can't happen. With this game she has to do everything that she would do if she had one. It teaches her that you have to earn things and they are not always easy but with work you get there. She loves it and we give it a BIG 10.
I love playing the game with my daughter and she just loves it even though at first she got frustrated lol. Its all good though. Thanks for shipping as quick as you could. I would recommend this game for any child its very cute and for the most part easy to play for my 8 year old daughter.
I don't know if my daughter is too young (6), but she has the DS and a few games, including horsez (which I love), but she doesn't play any of the games often. Maybe it's a little too advanced for her? I don't know. I like to play it though and played it christmas day, so much so that my daughter had to ask for it back!
great price for a game, my grand child loves these type of games where you raise the horse...and care for it...this is a good game to keep them occupied for hours thank you very much
Our 5 yr old is in love with this game she plays it quite a bit and is even learning to read words that I really didn't think that she would be able be to figure out. I am not always crazy about her playing games all the time, but when it is cold out and she can't ride for real this is a good second without tying up the TV
I love that this game has such good graphics. i decided to by it because it is age appropriate and educational for my seven year old. i would recommend it to others especially for little girls.
